Renowned Indian Director Onir to Attend the Kingdom of Bhutan International Film Festival

Thimphu, Bhutan – The Bhutan Film Institute is thrilled to announce that acclaimed Indian director Onir will be attending the inaugural Kingdom of Bhutan International Film Festival (KBIFF) as a special guest. Onir, known for his thought-provoking and socially relevant films, will present a curated selection of his short films and conduct masterclasses open to the general public during the festival. Onir, an award-winning filmmaker, has garnered international recognition for his work, which often explores themes of identity, love, and human rights. His films have not only resonated deeply with audiences in India but have also made a significant impact on the global stage.

Screenings of Short Films

As part of his participation at KBIFF, Onir will present a selection of his short films, offering festival attendees a unique opportunity to experience his powerful storytelling in an intimate setting. Masterclasses
